The
Gulf Coast Chapter of the National Railway Historical Society
has many friends. Some devote their energy and talent to the
activities of the Chapter and some provide financial resources
so the Chapter may prosper and expand its mission. This page
is devoted to an acknowledgment of the major financial benefactors
of the organization. |

RACHEL
PIPKIN
Rachel
Pipkin was a long time member of the Gulf Coast Chapter and devoted
an enormous amount of time and energy to the mission of the organization.
She shared our passion for railroading during her active years
and before her death in 2009 at the age of 100 she arranged for
a major bequest to the Chapter. Prior to her passing, the Chapter
had named its volunteer of the year award after Rachel. The positive
legacy of her friendship, energy and numerous contributions will
sustain the Chapter into the future. |
